The company offers a local search engine that connects consumers with local businesses in near real-time via the Seva Call proprietary platform. Consumers save time while Seva Call finds high quality businesses that can meet their needs at their convenience. Local businesses receive detailed consumer requests leading to quality matches.. Founders, who you may have met at the last Social Matchbox event, include: Gurpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh, and Amandeep Bakshi. Investors participating in the round included Jay Virdy (who sold local startup Summize to Twitter), Jigar Shah (Founder of SunEdison), multiple members of the Blu Ventures group (Paul Silber and David Krauskopf), Ed Mathias (The Carlyle Group), and the Fortify.vc fund, among others.
