Director, University of Maryland VentureAccelerator Program
The Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (Mtech) is looking for someone who loves building exciting startup companies and who loves the university campus setting to be the new VentureAccelerator Director at the University of Maryland. The VentureAccelerator Director identifies and cultivates opportunities throughout campus for new, high-potential tech startup ventures and actively performs a consultant, mentor, and interim CEO/COO role for these companies to lead their formation and growth. The Director is also actively involved in venture events like the UM Technology Startup Boot Camp, the UM $75K Business Plan Competition, Entrepreneur Office Hours, and Faculty Venture Fairs.
