Earlier this week we had a chance to attend an event put on by the guys from Durham, NC’s Triangle Startup Factory. We had a good time at the event where we met quite a few new and interesting people. We ran into Matt Jacobson from Launchbox Digital there who, along with the Triangle Startup Factory guys, announced a brand new partnership between Triangle Startup Factory and Launchbox Digital. This is an interesting development in the Launchbox Digital incubator program. We look forward to seeing where this new partnership takes both organizations in the near future and hope that it will help introduce more startup founders to the Mid-Atlantic startup community. Here is the official announcement, and do note that this sounds like a relocation to North Carolina more than it sounds like a partnering with a North Carolina based organization. Former Launchbox employee and current Washington Post blogger Alexis Rodich describes this as (Launchbox) “is relocating from Washington D.C. to the Research Triangle in North Carolina in the fall of 2010.“
